We're thrilled to share that we have sourced the rare and authentic Birch Sweet essential oil from the United States. True Birch oil is a premium product that is relatively more expensive than the commercial-grade Birch oil commonly found in the market. The reason behind the cost is due to the specialized production process that it undergoes. Before distillation, the bark of the Birch tree needs to be macerated and soaked in warm water for a minimum of 10-12 hours. This process is essential to extract the oil from the bark effectively. The yield of Birch Sweet essential oil is quite low, and the oil itself is denser than water, making it challenging to collect from the distillation process.
Birch Sweet essential oil has various therapeutic benefits and is commonly used in massage oils and creams to help relieve pain and inflammation. It may be especially useful with sprains, strains, sore muscles, and painful joints due to its anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. Furthermore, Birch Sweet oil is also known to have a warming effect, which can help soothe and relax tense muscles. Overall, we're excited to offer this exceptional product to our customers and hope that they can experience the benefits of true Birch Sweet essential oil.
