It offers a vibrant and fresh bouquet of notes, perfectly capturing the aroma of fresh juniper berries, and is ideal for use in aromatherapy and natural perfume.
This Juniper Berry Co2 contains a wide range of compounds. The Co2 select extract and pure essential oil are highly astringent, making them an excellent choice for acne and oily prone skin types. Furthermore, Juniper Berry Co2 Select extract can be used therapeutically to address many conditions, including rheumatic pain, fluid retention, bloating, detoxification, depression, and stress-related conditions. It is not uncommon to find it in massage blends for athletes or those who experience leg, feet, and general muscle cramps from physical exertion.
Two types of Juniper Berry are available: the Co2 select extract and Juniper Berry pure essential oil. The Co2 select extract is recommended for natural perfumes, as it offers a robust and profound aroma and a long dry down for a radiant middle note. It is more energetic than Juniper Berry essential oil and has a crisp scent that blends particularly well with masculine accords.
Juniper Berry is a highly sought-after ingredient in several masculine and unisex haute perfumes. It is often combined with sweet and citrusy floral notes of Neroli, along with a touch of Cedarwood Atlas and Vetiver, to form the luscious backbone of these perfumes. Although it is rarely mentioned outside of fine perfume artisan circles, Juniper Berry is an essential ingredient that adds a unique and irresistible dimension to natural perfume blends.
