Our pre-mixed Labdanum is 20% in clear, odorless Fractionated Coconut Oil, which gives you a lot of flexibility to work with. This pre-mixed dilution is completely mobile, which means it can be used straight away without the need for warming.
You will be pleased to note that our 15 mL of 20% concentration has twice the aromatic strength of 30 mL at 10%. This means that you can use less of the product to achieve the desired aromatic effect, which translates to more savings in the long run.

Rock Rose, scientifically known as Cistus ladanifer, is the source of several fragrant oils. Labdanum Absolute is produced from the resin, whereas Cistus essential oil is obtained through steam distillation of flowers, leaves, and sometimes branches. When the resin is distilled through steam or hydro-distillation, instead of being extracted through solvents as in the case of Labdanum Absolute, it yields Labdanum essential oil. To differentiate between the two, it can be remembered that Labdanum comes from resin, while Cistus comes from vegetation.
Labdanum Absolute is a very thick viscous substance and can not be poured from the bottle at room temperature or below. It must first be liquefied. Our Labdanum Absolute 20% is blended into odorless Fractionated Coconut Oil and gives you convenience and ease of use with no need to liquefy.
