Delicious!

So much more nuanced than I've experienced before! Floral, with awesome notes of green tea in the dry down. Even on its own, this is a beautiful fragrance.

Different and worth the price!

Top note is very fruity sweet (grapes/apples) and only slightly floral. About 20 minutes later the sweetness abated to a delicious harmonized scent of fruit and floral. Dry down removes more of the fruit, adds a smoother floral and a bit of a lovely leather to round it out. Very lovely. I have a bottle from South American that is very similar, but a bit more bitter and less smooth than this one. I like this one best.

Magnolia Blossom

I only bought a 1ml sample because I wanted to see if there was an appreciable difference between this oil from Thailand and the michelia alba essential oils from China that I already have. There is! The opening is pretty much the same - floral & fruity (apple?) - but the drydown is so much more. The green tea note mentioned in the description is spot on and does not appear in the oils from China (at least not in my evaluations). The origin of the material really does make a difference. I love how my other oils maintain their floral sweetness throughout their short lifespan but I really appreciate where this oil from Thailand takes me. I don't see michelia alba sourced from anywhere but China at any other supplier/seller (I saw an oil from France years ago but I let that ship pass me by and the supplier no longer carries it). This oil is costly in comparison to the oils from other suppliers but I think I understand why.

Magnolia Blossom

This is the first magnolia oil I have ever used, and I am very happy with it. Sweet, fresh, and floral, it smells absolutely beautiful.
