The velvety smooth aroma of fresh-cut roses with a slight citrus back note is an aromatic delight to the senses when using this rose hydrosol from fresh Rosa centifolia petals. Artisan distilled in Morocco you can expect this centifolia rose water to provide the same beneficial properties as our veteran Rose Otto hydrosol. It is simply an aromatic preference that separates our different Rose hydrosols, although there are some who tout Rose Centifolia hydrosol for use with broken thread veins and postpartum healing.
A wonderful skin toner beneficial for mature and dry skin types, Rose centifolia hydrosol can be used as a facial mist or applied to the face and neck with a cotton pad. Because Rose is an excellent humectant, it helps add and keep moisture in the skin. Suzanne Catty recommends blending it with
Cistus Hydrosol to diminish wrinkles in mature skin.
Emotionally, Suzanne Catty states that Rose has an affinity with the heart and the emotional spheres of the mind, body and spirit. Rose is known as an aphrodisiac aroma, both on its own and in blends.
Consider blending it with 10% of our rare Agarwood Hydrosol (Oud) for a romantic and sensuous spray to mist on bed linens and pillows.
