I love this Camelia oil from LGB, it's light and absorbs well. I have very sensitive skin, so this oil does not irritate, and I can mix a few drops of essential oil to make a great serum for my face. Thanks, LGB for another great product

I've always loved using oils for skincare and body care but when I learned that oils can go rancid easily, and that rancid oils age the skin, I started searching for a company that keeps their oils cold and fresh, and is transparent about when the oil was pressed. Many oils in stores and online warehouses are already rancid when you buy them either from heat or age. I'm so glad to have found this Camellia oil. Firstly, I could tell it was very fresh when I first tried it. This was the only Camellia oil I could find online that was not only organic and cold-pressed, but also comes from Japan (and not China!) I also love that LGB specifies that this oil comes from the White Camellia plant, that extra bit of info makes it even more special. This is one of the rare oils that is highly nourishing and emollient without being greasy. It seems as if it would be greasy when you first put it on, because it has a thick and rich texture, but it soaks into my skin within a few minutes. Before using this oil, I had been using "luxury" Japanese skincare products that claimed to be infused with Camellia oil, but they were also full of silicones and preservatives that congested my skin and gave it a bumpy texture you could only see in certain light. This oil has already helped to correct that within a matter of days, and it has helped with my dryness as well. I have transferred this oil to a black ultraviolet glass pump bottle to keep it fresh longer, and I love to use it alone or with a single drop of Helichrysum Italicum and Ylang Complete.

This is the first oil that I have used on my skin that deeply nourishes and moisturizes, while still being extraordinarly light and quickly absorbed. Usually high oleic acid oils cause skin irritations and eruptions for me, but not White Camellia Seed - a treasured find, with NO odor naturally.

This is one of the best oils I've used on my skin. I've had shingles numerous times on my face and so it has become highly sensitive, reactive and finicky about what I put on it. I added a touch of your aged patchouli, immortelle, myrrh and my skin drank it up immediately leaving it silky soft with zero irritation. That's a tough one for me, getting no irritation but having a carrier my skin accepts and absorbs. If it is oppositional to a carrier it will refuse to accept it and it ends up just sitting on my skin causing it to get irritated, splotchy and rashy looking. This oil is, in my opinion, is quite extraordinary. Thank you for offering this luxurious oil. Your aged dark patchouli is amazing too.
